Nancy Bortz, M.A. – “Plan B” – I am a people person and have surrounded myself in jobs and in the community where I believe I can make a positive impact on others. For several years I worked in hospitals and poverty stricken neighborhoods as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and as a Family Therapist. I began working in non profits creating programs and projects that took me into an entirely new direction. Some of the programs received both local and national media attention for making a difference in our community. My focus now is in education and I continue to create community programs. I hold four part time jobs and am eager to share about Plan B jobs and how to roll with the times to think creatively and outside the box. After all, could you ever imagine Plan B jobs turning into a career? It does happen, it has happened to me!
